Dua Lipa Created the Controversial Bloomers Trend Edgy Somehow
Throughout this year, fashion queen Dua Lipa has graced us with a variety of ultra-chic and edgy styles, ranging from see-through lace dresses to sparkling chain tanks.
Dua Lipa recently took to Instagram to share a complete carousel of her interpretation of the contentious bloomers trend. She managed to make it seem uber glamorous and edgy. This is an addition to the 2024 edition of her style diary.
In the first picture, Lipa is seen smiling with her pals while wearing her teeny-tiny black satin bloomers adorned with modest ruffle trimmings. She is also wearing an extra hefty punk black belt over them.
This photograph also includes Lipa’s cropped black halter top, which lends an air of sophistication to the whole look. In a different photograph, Dua Lipa strikes a position where she gently pulls the cropped halter closer to her toned abdominal muscles.
The photograph’s backdrop is filled with blurred lights, which gives off an edgy atmosphere. Lipa labeled the carousel with the word “Veraaaanooooo,” and just like with most of her postings, we had a fear of missing out (FOMO) because we were confident that there was a lot of fun going on at the time that we were taking the photos.
It is important to remember that the year before last, we saw the birth (or fall?) of the pantsless trend. For example, Hailey Bieber gave the trend a sporty-chic twist, while Emma Corrin gave it a red carpet and royal glam spin.
Even though the trend of not wearing trousers is now popular, it seems that this year is all about adding just a little bit of trousers in the form of bloomers. Not only is Lipa not the only celebrity to wear the bloomers trend this year, but she is also not the first star to do it with her unique touch.
At the beginning of this year, Sydney Sweeney had her fashion moment in Paris while wearing bedazzled white Miu Miu bloomers. On the other hand, Kristen Stewart was seen in New York City wearing cable-knit cream bloomer briefs. Dua Lipa has set new guidelines if you are seeking fashion inspiration to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. I beg you, baby, to emerge!
