“Red One” Trailer: Dwayne Johnson Helps J.K. Simmons Take Down Santa Claus in His Heist Action Comedy.
(VOR News) – Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans are currently appearing in a Red One film that is set in the vicinity of the North Pole.
It is intriguing to observe that this is their own unique interpretation of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.
Johnson portrays the Head of Security at the North Pole, who, in addition to recommending that Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons) be eliminated, requests the help of Chris Evans, the most notorious bounty hunter in the world, to save Christmas. Johnson’s character is a member of the North Pole Security Organization.
One of the most eagerly anticipated productions of the year is the Christmas robbery thriller “Red One,” which is directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Chris Morgan. The Red One” film’s premise was conceptualized by Hiram Garcia, while the script was ultimately composed by Chris Morgan.
The Head of Security at the North Pole, who is portrayed by Johnson, is tasked with collaborating with Evans, the most notorious bounty hunter in the world, to save Christmas after Santa Claus, also known as RED ONE, is captured. This is explicitly stated in the official synopsis of the film. As part of this assignment, they will embark on a series of thrilling adventures in various regions of the globe.
Other actors who appear in the Red One” film include Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, and Wesley Kimmel.
Johnson, Kasdan, Garcia, Morgan, Dany Garcia, and Melvin Mar are all involved in the production of the feature film that is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios: a partnership.
Johnson had previously shared a teaser for the film on social media, in which he declared, “Ladies, gentlemen, and children of all ages…the coolest, strongest, kindest, most badass, most loving, and most original Santa Claus of all time.” Johnson’s prelude was intended to serve as a preview for the film.
The film RED ONE, which is a component of our Christmas franchise, brought this iconic character to life. The actor responsible for these sequences was J.K. Simmons, who was awarded an Academy Award.
Simmons invested a substantial quantity of time and effort over a specific period of time to guarantee that he was qualified for the position. “When you and your families watch our movie, you will have a great time just like we are having a great time!”
“We’re already having WAY too much fun on this one.” Evans captioned the image. It is still difficult for me to accept the fact that I will be doing a Christmas movie.
Johnson and Evans have both decided to distribute their subsequent films exclusively through independent cinemas. It is their intention to pursue this course of action. Despite recently signing a contract with Disney, Johnson is currently working on Benny Safdie’s debut feature film, “The Smashing Machine.”
Johnson is also a producer. Johnson is returning to his origins as “The Rock” in order to serve as the representative of the renowned mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Mark Kerr. Safdie himself devised a plot that was inspired by Kerr’s ascension to fame in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and her real-life biography.
Johnson’s most ambitious project to date, as per the initial statement released by A24, is a documentary that chronicles the professional apex of mixed martial arts fighter Kerr in the year 2000, during the “no-holds-barred era of the UFC.”
Producing this endeavor will be the responsibility of Seven Bucks Productions, which is owned by Johnson and Garcia. In addition, the production process will involve Safdie’s Out for the Count banner, as well as Eli Bush and David Koplan.
In this period, Evans was recruited to join the ensemble of the cult comedy “Honey, Don’t!”, which was directed by Ethan Coen. Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza were also featured in the film. Evans will assume the role of a cult leader in this production.
On November 15, the film “Red One” will be released in theaters for the first time. For your viewing pleasure, please locate the trailer below.
