The Phoenix Police Department reported that 11 persons were carried to hospitals, treated, and discharged from a Trump event in Arizona on Thursday due to heat exhaustion. Many Trump fans waited in line for hours, and some could not enter the facility before it reached full. That day, the temperature hit a record high of 113 degrees Fahrenheit (45 degrees Celsius).

Trump’s Nevada event, his third in the state this year, follows a Western swing that includes numerous high-dollar fundraisers projected to generate millions.

Trump expects that his popularity among working-class voters and increased enthusiasm from Latinos will propel him to victory in the state.
